After trailing by 11 points at the break, the boys in blue slammed on five goals to two in the second half to snatch victory over the KNTFL by four points. And the game literally went down to the wire after KNT forward Brodie Foster missed a set shot after the final siren that would have clinched the title for the Knights. Late inclusion Josh Stephenson starred in the final with three vital goals. South Gambier utility Brett O'Neil was named Player of the Carnival and WBFL Best player, while Demon team mate Jak Ryan was voted Best U21 WBFL player. In the 17 and Unders, the Western Border team coached by Malcolm Lockwood defended its Championship title after dominating its grade. Mitch Gordon from Millicent was named WBFL Best Player.
